Avoid these common BBL post-surgery mistakes and you will be enjoying your new body in no time!
1. Do Not Sit On Your Buttocks
Do not sit on your buttocks for three to eight weeks, depending on your doctor’s recommendation. One of the most important things after a Brazilian butt lift is the survival of the grafted fat. Pressure on the buttock can kill or shift the transplanted fat. So avoid sitting or get our Licious BBL Pillow to sit on your thighs, without pressuring your behind.

2. Do Not Squat Or Stretch
Do not squat or stretch for three weeks. Activities can cause pressure in the buttocks and can destroy transplanted fat. Most patients will be able to return to light exercise, such as fast-paced walking, within 3-4 weeks of the procedure. Walking helps decreasing swelling.

3. Do Not Smoke
Smoking causes vasoconstriction and decreases oxygen delivery to newly transplanted fat. The results of your BBL can last for a long period of time if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

4. Do Not Sleep On Your Back
Do not sleep on your buttocks/back for at least three weeks. Sleep on your sides or stomach to allow the transplanted fat to stay fix at their inserted position. Or get our Licious BBL Bed with hole to sleep comfortably.

5. Do Not Go Sun Bathing
Do not expose the scars to sunlight for twelve months. Tanning your surgery scars may lead to permanent scaring. Always use sunblock.

6. Do Not Shower
Wait at least 24 to 48 hours after the procedure to shower. Showers are preferred over baths and very hot water should be avoided. BBL patients should avoid the beach, pools, baths, and hot tubs until the doctor approves them. This is to avoid infection and weakening of the incisions.

7. Do Not Wear Extremely Tight Clothes
Do not wear clothes or a compression garment that’s too tight. The garment should fit snugly, but it should not cover your buttocks.
